Using Fold

Fold is a shared memory archive for friend groups. By creating an account, you agree to use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must be at least 13 years old to use Fold.

Your content

You own everything you post. By uploading photos and captions to Fold, you grant us a limited licence to store and display them to members of your book. We will never use your content for advertising, AI training, or any purpose beyond serving it to your group.

Content rules

Don't post content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, or violates someone else's privacy. Don't post content that depicts minors in a sexual context. Don't use Fold to harass or impersonate others. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these rules and terminate accounts that repeatedly do so.

The permanence rule

Fold's core feature is that memories are permanent once the 24-hour edit window closes. This is intentional. By posting a memory, you acknowledge that it will remain in the book until the account holder requests deletion.

Subscriptions

Free accounts are free forever with stated limits. Paid plans are billed annually. You can cancel at any time — your access continues until the end of the billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

Availability

We do our best to keep Fold available and your memories safe. We are not liable for data loss caused by events outside our control. We recommend downloading your photos separately for critical memories.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll notify you by email if we make material changes. Continued use after notification means acceptance.
